The firm offers a comprehensive algorithmic trading suite and various direct market access (DMA) strategies, including their smart order routing technology and their dark liquidity pool aggregator. Whether clients are connecting via a third-party order management system or using the Morgan Stanley Passport execution management system, their global product offering provides access to trade portfolios, single stocks, ETFs, options, futures, swaps, and foreign exchange. Morgan Stanley Electronic Trading provides clients with a global trading platform supported by their proprietary systems. They offer clients multiple connections to liquidity with access to US and international markets as well as dark pools. Features available through MSET include the firm’s internal dark liquidity pool, MS POOL MS Watch for real-time order status, market data, watch lists; and MS-SALES which is available to send orders electronically to a Morgan Stanley sales trader. Clients are able to trade through the Morgan Stanley Passport a complete suite of trading applications, through FIX protocol direct from one of their vendor partnerships, or from clients own proprietary trading system.
